The Call of Duty scene is currently a bit agitated, as rumors involving a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered have been around for a while now and something even newer is apparently on the horizon.

According to the now edited bio of an actor involved in the Modern Warfare series (where he played MW’s Gaz and MW2’s Ghost), it looks like the developer behind the franchise, Infinity Warfare, might be working on a fourth chapter.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Leaked By Voice Actor

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has been briefly mentioned in the bio of actor Craig Fairbrass, who originally mentioned he was working on “Call of Duty modern warfare 1/2/3/4,” in a moment when Activision has not even fully presented 2018’s Black Ops IIII.

After noticing all the agitation in the community, Fairbrass edited as said his bio on Twitter, and issued a tweet where he commented that this typo cause “overreaction” among fans of the series.

“Bit of confusion and overreaction here, as I’ve always had the 5 COD games I’ve worked on, on my mini-bio on twitter- any clarification need just look on IMDB,” he said while editing the bio with references to “Call of Duty 4 – modern warfare 1/2/3.”

So, that’s it? Was it just a typo? I guess we’ll see what happens in 2019 when Infinity Ward returns to the Call of Duty franchise after Sledgehammer (WWII) and Treyarch’s (Black Ops IIII later this year) efforts.
