Youtuber Chaos has shared a few interesting details about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which would apparently be coming in 2019.
According to the Youtuber, the game would be released without a proper campaign as it has already happened with Black Ops 4 and would be the sub-series’ finale.
Anyway, Activision and Infinity Ward would be offering Modern Warfare 2’s remastered campaign to compensate.
The campaign from MW2 would be remastered and released without the original No Russian mission, which has been in the middle of controversy for ages because of its infamous airport scene.
We’ve already reported rumors of this campaign to be remastered a few months ago, and this information would link up to those rumors at least.
On top of that, the Modern Warfare 3 campaign could be coming at a later stage, once the game’s shipped, we’re told.
For what matters the overall project, the next Call of Duty would be the first in the sub-series to launch with Black Ops-like Specialists and a battle royale mode.
The battle royale would be based on a map similar in size to Black Ops 4’s, and would feature familiar locations and faces from the MW universe (such as Ghost).
Nearly 45% of the map would be covered by snow and that area would support snowmobiles for transportation.
Of course, this is just a rumor and most probably one of the many we’ll be reading in the coming months, so do not consider such information final.
Modern Warfare 4 has already been apparently teased, so it looks safe to say at least that this is the CoD game coming in 2019.
this is the leaked info that is floating around about #MW4, what are your thoughts?
ATTENTION none of this is confirmed in any way by anyone… all of this could VERY likely be fabricated and made up… but… if it was true, whatcha think? pic.twitter.com/2NL5MPXWbU
